Due to the birth of my little monkey (little monster’s little brother) I have recently had to fill in not few forms in Germany and I was quite surprised that most of them offered the categories ‘First parent’ and ‘Second parent’ rather than the tradtional m+f option. That’s great, Sandra! We’ve had a few discussions already about who’s “Dad” and who’s “Other Dad”, with no clear answer. I just like my kids being in the habit of celebrating what’s different about our family and having fun with it, rather than trying to deny or hide it.
